MCBA’s Equity Workshop Tour
The Minority Cannabis Business Association (MCBA) is thrilled to announce our upcoming Equity Workshop Tour (EWT), designed to empower social equity applicants and operators in the Cannabis industry.
The Equity Workshop Tour is a national movement, aiming to fortify the presence and influence of social equity applicants and operators in the burgeoning cannabis sector. 2024’s EWT features over 25 events, spanning 20+ states across the entire country, in a series of regional mini-Tours.
If you believe in the importance of building an ecosystem committed to an equitable industry you’re invited to join us for this intimate event. Attendees include social equity licensees and applicants, advocates and ancillary businesses, as well as local and/or state regulators.
Fresh off the Tour’s run through the Pacific Region, Las Vegas kicks off our first-ever visit to the Southwest.

Founded in 2015, MCBA (Minority Cannabis Business Association) is the largest national trade association dedicated to serving the needs of minority cannabis businesses and our communities. MCBA represents minority and allied cannabis businesses, aspiring entrepreneurs, and supporters who share a vision of an equitable, just, and responsible cannabis industry. Our work supports equity in the cannabis industry through policy, empowerment, and connection. The Tour’s Founder and lead organizer is Mike Lomuto, MCBA Board Chair and Co-Founder of Dao Mastery, who grew up in San Francisco and its cannabis industry (before it was called an “industry”). Mike was instrumental in implementing the National Cannabis Industry Association’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives, and is the 2023 recipient of the Indigenous Cannabis Industry Association’s Advocate of the Year Award.
