The Chamber of Cannabis is Nevada’s most inclusive cannabis industry trade association – we recognize that mutual support and collaboration across diverse groups is necessary to drive the industry forward.
Through our coalition of industry stakeholders, the Chamber enables collective action by pooling resources to achieve shared success.
Since its founding in 2020, the Chamber of Cannabis has led a wide range of initiatives to support the evolving cannabis industry. In 2021, the Chamber played a key role in the successful effort to bring cannabis consumption lounges to Nevada. Thanks to Assembly Speaker Steve Yeager (AD9), the passage of this bill (AB341) not only created a new license type and channel for legal sales but also introduced the concept of “social equity” to state statute for the very first time.
Committed to driving economic prosperity, the Chamber of Cannabis went on to drive additional legislation in 2023 with the support of Senator Dallas Harris (SD11). To ensure Nevada’s cannabis industry remains competitive with neighboring states and to alleviate potential barriers to commerce, the Chamber of Cannabis proposed an increase to the daily purchase and possession limit in 2023. Senator Dallas Harris (SD11) took on this initiative in the omnibus cannabis bill SB277. After championing this bill during a Cannabis Rally Day in Carson City, the Chamber’s efforts led to a 2.5x increase in daily limits AND the creation of a pathway for ex-offenders to work in the industry.
The Chamber of Cannabis is established as a 501(c)6 business trade organization.
