The Chamber of Cannabis is thrilled to announce its partnership with the Minority Cannabis Business Association (MCBA) to introduce their esteemed Equity Workshop Tour (EWT) to Las Vegas for the very first time. This groundbreaking partnership empowers social equity applicants and operators within the cannabis industry fostering inclusivity and fairness in the flourishing cannabis sector.
Dedicated to serving the needs of minority cannabis businesses and communities, MCBA stands as the largest national trade association of its kind. Through a multifaceted approach encompassing policy, empowerment, and community outreach, MCBA works to achieve equity and justice for the communities most impacted by failed cannabis policies. Much like the Chamber of Cannabis, MCBA is committed to nurturing a thriving, responsible, and inclusive cannabis industry through concerted efforts to promote justice, commerce, and support our communities.
Representing a diverse array of minority and allied cannabis enterprises, as well as aspiring entrepreneurs and advocates, MCBA collaborates closely with state representatives to ensure the fair implementation and enforcement of sensible cannabis policies. Moreover, the association provides invaluable education, resources, and economic opportunities tailored to minority entrepreneurs and communities, alongside hosting a variety of engaging events both online and in person to facilitate meaningful connections within the cannabis community.
At the heart of MCBA’s efforts lies the Equity Workshop Tour, a national event series designed to unite and empower individuals dedicated to advancing social equity within the cannabis industry, fortifying the presence and influence of social equity applicants. While the upcoming tour in Las Vegas marks a pivotal milestone, last year’s national movement saw the tour spanning over 20+ states in a series of highly impactful mini tours. Comprising collaborative forums, purposeful networking sessions, and roundtable dialogues, the event promises to be a gathering of like-minded individuals committed to championing equity in the cannabis space.
Notably, the Las Vegas leg of the Equity Workshop Tour will feature prominent figures from the Chamber of Cannabis, including board members Nicole Buffong and Chandler Cooks. Their insights and expertise are sure to enrich the discussions and inspire attendees to continue their pursuit of an equitable cannabis industry.
For those passionate about social equity and eager to contribute to the ongoing evolution of the cannabis industry, the Equity Workshop Tour presents a unique opportunity to engage with fellow advocates and stakeholders. The Chamber of Cannabis and the Minority Cannabis Business Association extends an invitation to all who share in our vision of building an industry grounded in fairness, inclusivity, and opportunity.
